Week 29: The babies are the size of cauliflowers.
Happy Mother's Day! The boys continue to grow nice and strong. We were able to get our first COVID vaccine on May 5th, the only shot we were allowed to take on Cinco de Mayo! And luckily there were no side effects other than a sore arm. Hopefully the boys will get some beneficial antibodies and a safer start once they come into the world and join their family. The boys have so much personality already, and regardless of what side I try to sleep on, the one on the "bottom" gets squirmy so I am sure they will enjoy a little more space soon, or they may still prefer to stay snuggled up on the outside too. Little Apple, on the top, like to push right up against my side so we all get to play the fun game of "foot or booty" when trying to figure out what body part we can feel. Always an adventure!
What's going on in there? This week the babies may begin to smile, especially in their sleep and they continue to hiccup. They
feel like light, rhythmic taps in the womb and aren’t uncomfortable for
baby. As the little beans plumps up, the womb is getting a bit cramped, so
those hard kicks being felt will be more like jabs and pokes now.
Next appointment: 5/18/2021 ultrasound
Feeling: full
of babies! Sleeping is easier some nights and not other so I think that may lead to some of the fatigue during the day. Luckily I do find that perfect comfy spot every now and then and it feels lovely! I have ordered a magnesium cream to help make my legs more comfy when sleeping and a belly band to help support the bump when I am on my feet since these boys are getting heavy!
Weight: 183 lbs
11 weeks to go! (9 weeks until the 38 week mark!)
