Week 32: The babies are the size of cantaloupes.
32 weeks! It is crazy to think they could come any day or 6 weeks from now. It is so reassuring to know they are healthy weights and would be safe if they did come early. The hospital where the boys will be born require NICU time if they come before 35 weeks so that is my next goal!
What's going on in there? This week babies’ organs are fully formed! All the baby’s
major organs are fully developed now, except for the lungs. So even if they
came out this week, the little ones would probably do just fine. The babies
continue to inhale amniotic fluid to practice using those lungs. Bye-bye,
see-through baby! This week, the little bean's skin is now opaque instead of
transparent.
Next appointment: 6/2/2021 ultrasound
Feeling: Full
of babies! The fatigue sets in a little easier these days but that doesn't stop the boys from moving around. As Banana runs out of room he likes to push his little tush right out of my side which I think actually gives my lungs a little more room.

6 weeks until the 38 week mark!
