Week 34: The babies are the size of pineapples.
34 weeks! Every week feels like a milestone now. The guessing game continues as to when they will come. At this point I would not be surprised if they held out until July 13th, being such little over achievers (over 5 pounds!). I got what may be my last pedicure today, and got little stars on my toes for the little stars we are all focused on at this point. And then had a lovely dinner out to celebrate 15 years together with my hubby, who has been so supportive during this whole journey and didn't judge me when I ordered two desserts (one for each baby or course!), and then barely ate any of them because there was no room in my belly hahaha.
What's going on in there? This week the waxy, cheesy coating
on the babies skin — vernix — begins to thicken before it starts shedding in
the next few weeks. The babies close their eyes when they snoozes and opens them
when they are awake, helping them settle into a sleep schedule. And as the
babies grows, you may be able to see body parts like little hands and feet
through the belly!
Next appointment: 6/16/2021 ultrasound
Feeling: Full
of babies! The boys are not quite as active with their space growing smaller but still move around enough to let me know they are dancing around through out the day. Still able to sleep for most of the night and hopefully breathing will ease up a bit after the iron infusion but over all still ding great for 34 weeks with twins!
Weight: 192
4 weeks until the 38 week mark!
